AN ELEPHANT'S LULLABY.....
for Solo Cello
dedicated to sleepy elephants everywhere :-)

 I receive so many wonderful photos of elephants of all sizes and activities on my  FB newsline...I follow  several pro- animal organizations and I am fostering two orphan baby elephants with the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and receive  much information and photos from them:-).....How could I not be inspired by these beautiful creatures ....especially when they look dozy or are sleeping:-)...One day I was thinking about them and  this lullaby is the result....someone must have been playing it for this little guy in the photo...it worked :-)

I have also written a little verse  inspired by my two orphans...ASHAKA  and KOMAK.....I am planning for it to be read to a variation of this song ...and will announce it on Twitter when it is published...there will also be musings in the future about the life of these two girls....who happen to have become best friends and are doing well:-)
