THE ELEGANT ELEPHANT
Dedicated to Elephants thruout the world and the dedicated and committed people who are working to make their lives better ..
The work I have been doing with supporting the Aussie wombat efforts has put people who work for animal causes in my path...and thru their posts and tweets I have come to learn about the many survival threats the elephant is experiencing thruout the world.
I have always felt a connection to the wonderful elephant and recently I made an effort to learn more....I watched a lot of YouTube videos and visited some informative web sites....It is so clear to me that the elephant is a special animal with sincere emotions and many beautiful characteristics like team playing, loyalty, love, and commitment to each other.....all the good qualities we like in the people around us.....
I began to really love the elephant and once my heart was engaged...I knew ...I wanted to write music in honor of the elephant....all elephants thruout the world....the title came out of the blue one day as I was thinking about the elegance of their emotions in relationship to their big clumsy looking bodies....elephants ARE a very elegant animal and thus, ...THE ELEGANT ELEPHANT ...
This music depicts 2 sides of the elephant....the lumbering walk...they put in a lot miles walking to find water and food...and their little ones gamboling along...and sometimes I would see the little ones running in the videos...I timed the average speed of their walk and my music reflects that....then, in the middle section of music you will hear a change of mood....this section depicts their sincere emotions and many times sadness due to deaths of their loved ones at the hands of poachers , hunters, and abusers....it is my hope that you can hear their deep emotions and feelings reflected in the music ...and the last section brings us back to their daily routine of walking with the little ones in search of water and food...
