PEACE IN THE VALLEY is a 1937 Gospel Song written by Thomas A. Dorsey, originally for Mahalia Jackson.....He was going through a terrible time in his life then and was inspired to write it....
This is one of my favorite Gospel Songs and I wrote this arrangement for two cellos......For me, it inspires hope and peace and creates a reassuring feeling.......
