O SOLE MIO
O SOLE MIO was written by Eduardo di Capua...this is my arrangement for solo cello...
Although, I was familiar with the title, I never paid much attention to the music...until.....a FB friend posted this with Caruso singing it....well, it stopped me in my tracks....how lovely it was in a tenor voice...and then I listened to Domingo sing it...and I knew that I wanted my cello's tenor voice to sing it too...so, I took the vocals and created this arrangement for my cello....My cello is "singing" this music as a tenor would....
