HARLEM NOCTURNE
Harlem Nocturne was written by Earle Hagen and Dick Rogers in 1939 for the Ray Noble Orchestra , of which they were members....this is my original arrangement and interpretation for my cello..........
I have loved this haunting and emotional Jazz tune since I was in High School.....It is usually played by a dance orchestra featuring a solo saxophone...........but, I felt its emotional sounds were perfect for my cello and I made an arrangement with my own interpretation....It gives me a great feeling to play it and I can just imagine what it would have been like to play it in one of those Jazz clubs of that era.......
Thank you for listening to my music and please check the other areas of my site.....there is a lot to see and listen to....
