FOR OPUS....NUMBER ONE !
A little over a week ago, I "adopted" an orphan penguin chick who I named OPUS...when I read the letter SANCCOB sent me...I knew I wanted to compose a little song about OPUS ...I recently wrote a musing about my penguin journey and you can click....HERE...to read or listen to it :-...a separate window will open with the musing.....
You will hear four melodies in the Opus music from the beginning of trembling fear to the ever hopeful ending when he is released in about 3 weeks(about the end of Dec.)..
The first melody depicts the orphans huddling and trembling on the beach,.... hungry , ill or injured, (Opus was not..he was in a weakened condition only) and very afraid...
In the second melody he sees large figures quickly walking toward him and the other orphans....they scoop Opus and the others up and put them in a box with peepholes and take them on a journey to......
The sanctuary with warmth from infra red lights, fish smoothies, and loving hands and warm hearts is depicted with the third melody...
This fourth melody is similar to the first but, without the fear and trembling :-) When Opus is strong and able to make it on his own in his real world, he will be released to live his natural life...a hopeful ending:-)...in the last measure or so the deep sounds of my cello depicts Opus swimming away free and healthy....
I hope you like listening to this little song I composed and play from my heart for Opus :-)...thank you for listening and visiting my site.....
